Creekside Restaurant and Bar offers more than a pretty view

Shirley and Matt Harper display Creekside’s flatbread bruschetta, rear, and whiskey grilled salmon. Perched above the banks of pretty Chippewa Creek, the aptly named Creekside Restaurant and Bar has been a “go-to” place for Brecksville residents celebrating a special night out for more than 17 years now.

Owners Shirley and Matt Harper both grew up in Brecksville and take great pride in their restaurant and beautiful hometown.
Open the front door and continue down a short, open hallway to reach the main restaurant entrance. To the left is the handsomely decorated bar area. Light colored wood parquet and a trio of flat-paneled water fountains mounted on the wall behind the 30-foot bar make the modern space warm and cozy.

Take the chill off with the house martini ($8), with colorful layers of pineapple-infused vodka, blue cura ao, cranberry juice, and a splash of citron, or a seasonal cinnamon apple martini ($7), with housemade cinnamon-infused vodka and sour apple liqueur.
Or try one of the award-winning beers or wines.

According to general manager Mark Murray, customers also like the many vodka and tequila infusions, such as blood orange, that the bar has been experimenting with lately.
